Thank you for your interest in Congregation B’nai Torah!
Nearly 200 families make up our incredible community of warm, caring and enjoyable people. We take pride in our educational and spiritual programs, and the wide array of services and activities offered. Led by Rabbi Lisa Eiduson, our talented professional staff brings years of experience to our congregation.
Our temple is based on three core values:
1) Provide an exceptional education program for all our members - children and adults.
2) Provide quality programs through the volunteer participation of our members, led by our Board of Directors.
3) Provide a warm, welcoming community to all our members, and an environment where members can participate in a way that works for them.
Our one-day-a-week Hebrew school is taught by experienced, certified instructors, preparing children for their B'nai Mitzvah. Our Adult Learning program is designed to appeal to a wide variety of member interests.
Volunteers play an important role in support of our ritual, educational, social, financial, and social action activities. We have a very active Board of Directors and many committees where there are always opportunities for new participants. We offer a mentor program to help new members feel at home and we encourage new members to get involved in temple life as soon as possible as a way to deepen their connection to the community.
The genuine warmth within the B'nai Torah community cannot be overstated. You feel it the moment you walk through the doors of the temple, and it is felt by both new and long-term members alike. This is especially apparent when experiencing difficult life events, when the community is there to provide the support and comfort you need.
We are a community that evolves as times change, while still preserving our core values. We are proud of our commitment to interfaith families, who account for nearly half of our membership, and we encourage our interfaith members to fully participate in temple life.
We encourage you to stop by and visit with us to learn more about our community and to experience first-hand our wonderful synagogue. We’d love to meet you!
