Why We Joined

"The open and caring environment, the relaxed feel of Friday services, and weekday-only Hebrew School were the best fit for our busy family. It’s a diverse and inclusive congregation, with many interfaith families — something that is very important to us."

"Arts Matter" Shabbat Service

A Unique "Kick Back and Relax" Shabbat

Our Congregation B'nai Torah was selected to be one of the synagogues to host the Jewish Arts Collaborative "Arts Matter" Shabbat. CBT is honored and very excited to be a part of this extraordinary creative and lively evening.

Date: Friday, October 25

Time: 7:00 PM

Location: Congregation B'nai Torah Sanctuary

Our program for Arts Matter will be a special Kick Back and Relax Shabbat infusing pieces by artists such as Louis Armstrong, Joni Mitchell, Charlie Chaplin, Fleetwood Mac, Phish, Bob Marley and others into the traditional Shabbat prayer menu, all the while highlighting the cycle of Torah. On this night we are very fortunate to also have percussionist, John Dorizzi and bassist, Ben Hoadley joining Rabbi Eiduson, Cantorial Soloist Jodi Blankstein and guitarist Adam Dehner. You will not want to miss this very unique musical Shabbat experience emphasizing the strength of Torah through various musical genres.
