Sisterhood
Sisterhood
|
The Sisterhood of Congregation B’nai Torah is open to all female members of the congregation. Joining the Sisterhood is a wonderful, fun way of connecting with the other women at CBT.
This summer, members of the Sisterhood enjoyed two Movie Nights which included viewing the films “RBG” - the documentary about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the Israeli Film “The Wedding Plan.” We also started playing weekly Mah Jong games both at night and during the day. We will continue playing Mah Jong every week in the fall. The dates and times for the games are listed in the temple’s Weekly Bulletin. Players of all levels are welcome to join us including anyone who has never played before.
Along with social events, we also participate in many social action and temple activities. The Sisterhood sponsors charitable activities such as serving dinner at Rosie’s place and wrapping Chanukah gifts at Jewish Family Services. The Sisterhood also coordinates the annual Chanukah dinner and celebration and plans the Spring Adult Social.
Whether you want to help organize an activity or just attend an event, participating in the Sisterhood is a great way to make friendships and meet the other women of the congregation.
