Erev Rosh Hashanah - "Welcome Back" Celebration and Worship Service

Our Celebration of the New Year begins Sunday, September 9th, Erev Rosh Hashanah.  Traditionally, the first night of the High Holidays is a night for family and friends to feast on a sweet menu such as Brisket, Honey Chicken, Potato Kugel - you name it.  It brings back memories of Grandma's house, with tasty recipes.

Date: Sunday, September 9

Time: 7:00pm

Open to all! Non-members and first-time visitors are welcome!

Cost: none

Bring: A dessert (optional)

Bring your favorite memory of one of Grandma's desserts to our "Welcome Back Oneg" - to be held before our Erev Rosh Hashanah service.  Come to temple for this wonderful treat at 7:00 pm to be followed by a reflective service starting at 7:30.  It's a great opportunity to welcome everyone back from summer trips and days at the beach.  And, it's a wonderful way to skip dessert at home and join our congregation at this new event.

If you have a dessert you plan to bring, please contact Jeff Levine at [email protected] and let Jeff know what you are bringing.  Home prepared goods are preferred - leave the shopping for another day.
