Women's Seder

Saturday, March 7, 2020 11 Adar 5780

2:00 PM - 4:00 PMCBT
Our 4th Annual Women's Seder

B'nai Torah invites the congregation and community to its fourth annual Women’s Seder on March 7, 2020, from 2-4 pm.

Help Victims of Domestic Violence

B’nai Torah is working with the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable and its Shower for Shelters Program again this year to raise awareness and collect personal items for those in need.

Just as the Jews left Egypt to escape persecution and death, survivors of domestic violence also face their own journeys to freedom. They must often leave their homes, families and jobs behind in order to find safety and freedom from abuse. They have to resettle in new places and begin their lives over again. Join B’nai Torah as Rabbi Eiduson leads participants in exploring the relationship between the two journeys to freedom.

Dessert And Gifts

Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite Passover dessert to share, as well as much needed new "shower" gifts to benefit domestic abuse survivors. The program is collecting new items for families establishing homes, such as twin size bedding, crib sheets, bath towels, kitchen appliances and general kitchen-ware, diapers, gift cards, etc. Please click here for the full list. The collection will run through the end of March.

Please RSVP

Kindly RSVP by March 2, 2020 to Robin Berman (admin@bnaitorah.com).

The fee for the seder is $10 per person. Payment can be made by check, payable to Congregation B’nai Torah.
