Congregation B’nai Torah celebrated Chanukah with a Communal Dinner and Shabbat Service on Friday December 15th. The dinner was coordinated by the Sisterhood. Members came together to enjoy dinner featuring Mediterranean Food while children played the dreidel game and completed some Chanukah crafts. The Shabbat Service began with a communal lighting of Chanukiot. The Service featured students in grades kindergarten through seventh grade sharing different prayers, skits and songs related to the story of Chanukah. After the service, everyone enjoyed the “Make Your Own Sundae” Oneg.

Why We Joined
"The open and caring environment, the relaxed feel of Friday services, and weekday-only Hebrew School were the best fit for our busy family. It’s a diverse and inclusive congregation, with many interfaith families — something that is very important to us."
