Why We Joined

"The open and caring environment, the relaxed feel of Friday services, and weekday-only Hebrew School were the best fit for our busy family. It’s a diverse and inclusive congregation, with many interfaith families — something that is very important to us."

"Chanukah Delights" Cooking Class

Members of the Sisterhood participated in a "Chanukah Delights Cooking Class" with Ellie Deaner on December 3rd. Ellie  has been teaching cooking classes for over 30 years.  She is also the author of two cookbooks - “From Ellie’s Kitchen to Yours” and “So Easy, So Delicious.”

Ellie shared several recipes for Chanukah including Microwave Apple Sauce, Healthy Chicken Nuggets, Apple Fritters, Chocolate Slice and Bake Cookies and of course Potato Latkes.  Everyone enjoyed having the opportunity to cook these delicious foods and learning some new recipes to use for their Chanukah celebrations.

Ellie Deaner will return to CBT in March to share some recipes for Passover.  More information about her next cooking class will be coming soon.
