Now that Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are over, it is time to think about some of the goals and resolutions you may have made for the New Year. If working on your health is one of those goals, the Sisterhood is sponsoring a wonderful new program for you.

Please join us for a special six week program called  "Healthier YOU: Cultivating Better Health, Resilience and Spirituality" based on the book and curriculum "Live Long, Die Short: Guide to Authentic Health and Successful Aging" by Roger Landry, M.D. MPH.

The program instructor will be Laila Vehvilainen, MS, MPH who is also a gerontologist, certified Senior Fitness Specialist, personal trainer and health educator.  Each 1.5 hour session will include both discussion and physical exercise, strength and balance exercises, stretching and meditation.

Rabbi Eiduson will be a guest speaker at some sessions to explore the role of spirituality in health and wellness. This class is meant for adults looking to make changes to promote more vibrant, authentic health in their lives.

The cost of this six-session program, which includes all course materials and Dr. Landry's book, is $60 for CBT members and $90 for nonmembers.
