Jewish Identity as a Synthesis of Hebrew Language and Jewish Living

Fourth Grade Students enjoy differentiating themselves as independent learners!

Our Grade 4 curriculum balances the harmony of a positive classroom community with the need to differentiate lessons and curricular goals for different types of learners. Fourth graders enjoy using their knowledge to discuss and debate to clarify values for themselves. Students are introduced to a wide variety of Jewish practices, customs and Hebrew prayers and blessings. They begin to appreciate the evolution of Judaism over time and space. Students are introduced to Reform Judaism as a Movement that came about to balance the Jewish values of tradition and change.
