New Year's Greeting from Our Congregation President

Dear CBT Members,

On behalf of myself, my wife Nancy, and my family, I want to wish all of you and your families, Shanah Tovah!  The new year, 5779, is remarkable in several ways.  First, 5779 is a prime number.  It's also my first year as temple president.  Also new is our renowned cantorial soloist, Jodi, and her accompanist, Adam.  We also have new ideas and programs, including starting the year off with dessert preceding our Erev Rosh Hashanah service.  We have new members, new board volunteers, new High School programs, and new energy.  I plan to make the new year one that grows our community and offers every member the opportunity to give and get back.

Those are my new year's resolutions.  What are yours?  As we enter these days of awe, please take time to reflect on what it means to be part of the B'nai Torah community.  What more can you do, what more can we do?  What can we accomplish together?

I hope that 5779 is a good year, bringing health, enjoyment, and peace to all.  Please participate in the many activities planned for this year.  I look forward to personally greeting you during the High Holidays and making 5779 an especially joyful year.  After all, 5779 is a prime opportunity to do so.

Wishing you a heartfelt Happy New Year!

Dale
