Why We Joined

"The open and caring environment, the relaxed feel of Friday services, and weekday-only Hebrew School were the best fit for our busy family. It’s a diverse and inclusive congregation, with many interfaith families — something that is very important to us."

Volunteers Needed

Please lend a helping hand for the High Holy Days!

High Holy Day Usher Corps

Each of us can do our part to help to create a warm welcome to members before and during the High Holy Day services. Ushers are part of our welcoming community; greeting members, handing out prayer books and helping families to their seats in the sanctuary.  Ushers keep the atmosphere of our sanctuary physically, by watching proper temperature, and spiritually, by controlling when doors are open or closed (when the ark if open, Torah is chanted or the Rabbi is delivering her sermon, the doors are closed).

It's a meaningful job that helps your temple community and makes the High Holy Days such a wonderful experience. Please sign up to volunteer contacting Jeff Levine at [email protected] as soon as possible.

And don't forget - if you're an experienced usher and would like to 'captain' the usher corps at a specific service time, we could really use your help.  Contact Jeff at [email protected] to take on this key role.

Parking Lot Assistant

Many people want to park in our lot. With limited parking spaces, it just isn't possible to get everyone into one location. Thankfully, we have the use of the bus service from the church.  Nick Orlov has graciously helped control parking each year.  Please let us know if you would like to help Nick with this task, by contacting Jeff at [email protected]
